Butane is a hydrocarbon compound that belongs to the alkane class. Due to its flammable property, this gas is widely used both domestically and in various industries.

Pure butane is used as a component in calibration gas mixtures in the gas and chemical industries.

In addition, high-purity butane is used as a refrigerant R-600 in refrigerators and air conditioners. Unlike freon, it is less efficient but poses a lower environmental risk.

Butane is used to produce important components of high-octane gasoline - butene and 1,3-butadiene.

Pure butane can be used in the food and fragrance industries. The gas is registered as a food additive E943a, and isobutane as E943b, propellant. These compounds are used in deodorants.

Hazard class 2. Butane is a flammable gas that can explode when mixed with air. Delivery is made in liquefied form under pressure, in cylinders, drums, and isotanks, and is considered hazardous transportation.

No special temperature conditions are required for the transportation of pure butane gas. However, to avoid overheating, it is recommended to transport the substance at a temperature not exceeding 45 ºC.

The container for storage and transportation must be protected from overheating and open flames.
Gas cylinders are transported only in a horizontal position, securely fastened. Store in a cool place.

BK Group offers butane with a purity ranging from 2.0 (99%) to 4.0 (99.99%) in cylinders from 5 to 112 liters, 960-liter barrels, and also has experience supplying butane as a refrigerant to LNG facilities and in isotanks. The most common grades of pure butane are always in stock, and for large-scale orders, the delivery time is no more than one month.

Purchase of pure butane in cylinders at a favorable price. You can place an order and arrange delivery by contacting BK Group employees by phone: +7 (495) 118-41-95.
