Xenon is used to fill incandescent lamps, high-power gas-discharge and pulsed light sources
Radioactive isotopes (127Xe, 133Xe, 137Xe, etc.) are used as radiation sources in radiography and for diagnostics in medicine, for leak detection in vacuum systems.
Xenon, both in pure form and with a small addition of cesium-133 vapor, is a highly efficient working fluid for electric propulsion systems (mainly ion and plasma engines) of spacecraft. as an anesthetic and pain reliever.
Xenon fluorides and oxides have been proposed as powerful oxidizers for rocket fuel, as well as components of gas mixtures for lasers.
The transportation of cylinders must be carried out in a horizontal position with spacers between the cylinders or in a vertical position, with mandatory protection against possible falling. Transportation in packaged form in special containers is allowed.
Joint transportation with oxygen cylinders is not allowed.
Transportation/movement must comply with the codes of the relevant type of transport, federal laws, other regulations, and the legislation of the country where the transportation/movement/transshipment is taking place.
